Kishoreganj: Police have arrested a madrasa principal named Humayun Kabir in Kishoreganj for sexually harassing two female students.

Early on Friday (May 31), the police conducted a raid and arrested the principal Humayun Kabir from the madrassa.

Later he was sent to jail by the court.

Arrested Humayun is a resident of Nanshree village of Karimganj upazila of Kabir district. She is the principal of Madania Mahila Qoumi Madrasa in Satal area of ​​Kishoreganj Sadar Upazila.

According to the police and local sources, the students have been studying in Madania Mahila Qoumi Madrasah hostel. Humayun Kabir, the principal, was giving physical abuse and bad suggestions to the two students staying in the hostel for three months. Last Wednesday (May 29) at around 8 pm, Principal Humayun Kabir took the two students to his office and closed the door and molested them. At that time, when the two students started screaming, the principal grabbed their throats. At one point, a student sneaked out of the madrasa and went home at night and informed her mother about the incident.  

Then on Thursday night, the victim's motherfiled a case at Kishoreganj Model Police Station, making Principal Humayun Kabir the sole accused.
